Use this handy guide to help choose or take which pet photos to send us

Try to get at least one photo with your pet looking directly and at eye level with the camera. Try and fill as much of the frame as you can. If you need to hold them, don’t worry, just try not to obscure any part of their face.

To give us some more options, try also to provide one picture of their face slightly from one side looking away from the camera (doesn’t matter which side). Again, fill as much of the frame as you can and stay at eye level.
Other things to have in mind:
- Try to avoid the photo having either bright light or shadow on one part of the face – look for as even light as you can.
- Make sure the picture is sharp and not blurry or pixellated (low resolution).
- If you have a picture of your pet doing something unusual (tongue out, mouth open, etc), send it across, we may be able to give you some options!
